Supervisor : P. Vuilleumier, Dr. Dominguez-Borras

General Information

After a Bachelor in Biology from the University of Lausanne in 2008, I completed in 2011 a master in neuroscience at the University of Geneva under the supervision of Pr. Vuilleumier and Dr. Pichon. I did my master thesis on the influences of temporal attention on subliminal emotional processing using fMRI. During my master, I spent three months at the City College of New York to learn fast optical imaging technique under the supervision of Pr. Ro.

After the completion of my master thesis, I have been a research assistant at the University of Geneva for Dr. Aue in the laboratory of Pr. Vuilleumier, working with fMRI; Pr. Barouillet working with EEG; and Dr. Péron and Pr. Grandjean working with fMRI and iEEG. I also had the chance to get a three months training in biopsychology at the University of Malaga - Spain, under the supervision of Pr. Santini; a four months EEG training at the institute of neurology in Buenos Aires - Argentina, under the supervision of Pr. Ibáñez and Pr. Manes; and two EEG -neurofeedback trainings at the University of Geneva, under the supervision of Dr. Ros and Pr. Vuilleumier.

I am now a PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Dominguez-Borras and Pr. Vuilleumier. We use iEEG to investigate the role and temporal dynamics of the amygdala in emotional processing.

My research interests include emotion, awareness and attention, clinical neuroscience, plasticity and BCI.
