Note

After a Master Degree in cognitive and clinical Psychology (2012, University of Geneva) and in Learning and Teaching Technologies (2013, University of Geneva), Donato Cereghetti started a PhD in psychology as a part of the EATMINT project – under the supervision of Mireille Betrancourt, Gaëlle Molinari and in collaboration with Guillaume Chanel and Thierry Pun. His PhD thesis focuses on the role of emotion awareness in mediated communication. We are also developing and evaluating new tools to improve mediated collaborative work.

His master's thesis in psychology, supervised by Clara James, focused on the cognitive process of musical syntax violations in children (EEG paradigm). As part of his master's thesis in learning technologies, he worked on the impact of a manual emotion awareness tool on the quality of collaboration and group performance in a computer-supported collaborative work setting, under the supervision of Mireille Betrancourt and Gaëlle Molinari.

Since 2011, he’s involved in research on music perception, emotion and action at the Neuroscience of Emotion and Affective Dynamics Lab – Didier Grandjean’s group.

Current Research

His current interests include music perception, emotions and human-computer interaction.
