The Swiss Center for Affective Sciences is made of professors, researchers, post-doctoral fellows, and doctoral students from several disciplines involved in the study of emotions.

 

Our expertise covers a wide range of methods:

  • Behavioral analysis (from Eye-tracking to non-verbal communication)
  • Implicit methods
  • Neuroscientific methods: EEG, fMRI
  • Psychophysiological measures of emotions (e.g., cardiac and respiration measures, galvanic skin response)
  • Survey, questionnaires, and self-reports

 

Typically, research collaborations involve one or more of the following:

  • Development of scientific protocols for research & development activities
  • Complete research design, data collection and analysis
  • Development of assessment instruments and procedures for emotion analysis
  • Scientific assessment of emotional responses, values, attitudes and preferences in different contexts.
